**That`s what you get from Romo. You take the good and live with the bad.
Bret Frave was great when the risks worked and dumb and washed up when
they don`t. That's the nature of Pro sports. The coach is great when the
team is winning and stupid, dumb and doesn`t know what he is doing when
the team loses.
Heck some were calling for Bellchecks head for crying out loud. The nature of the beast. What have you done Lately.
** That's Just Romo at his best! When the game is on the line or it's the playoffs he throws to the other team! The sad part about it is that it is a fact now. He has done it more times then not. And don't get me wrong I am a Broncos fan but I don't hate the Cowboys. They just need to really consider a QB change in the very near future. The only way they will get to the Superbowl and have a chance to win is if they have a different QB!
** The game was on the line when they were down 38-27 and Romo brought them back. Romo was the best player on the field for the Cowboys. Players like Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Tyron Smith, Ernie Sims, Morris Claiborne, Dez Bryant had mishaps throughout the game that cost us. A different qb does not get them a W
** Jr Reyes you're right. That is what is so infuriating about Romo, the face that he is a really good player. That being said when the game is on the line, and he has the ball, history shows Cowboys fans should be worried.
** Im with my team regardless. Its amarathon not a sprint. What I really like about my team, is the impact of its rookie class, that was given an "F" grade at the draft. Escobar, Williams, Frederick, Wilcox and Holloman all look good.
** Look, I can be lenient on Tony Romo. He played an outstanding game; there's no question about it. But a team led by Romo will probably never win the Super Bowl, if it ever even goes. That's the simple reality. Why? Because every single time he has ever faced a situation like he did on Sunday, he has made a throw like he did on Sunday. And the other team has celebrated the win at his expense, like Denver did on Sunday. When Romo quits making those throws and starts delivering wins in those situations, everybody will be quiet about it.
** For one Escobar was open not wide open but he had a window. Romo was making those throws all day. He was tripped up by Tyron Smith and lost his footing go outside and try to throw a dart like that Even then Trevathon made a great play on the ball. Watch the tape it wasnt a bad decision a 3 man rush, yes 3 man, collapsed the pocket on Romo. That intereption was on the o line im sorry.
** Dalton maybe watch the tape where romo had his check down back WIDE open. Not "open" but WIDE open. If he had thrown that ball to his back he would have taken for a first no question. Regardless if the pocket collapsed he should, knowing the playbook, know where his wideouts are at all times. The o-line gave him time the entire game. The defense and his bone head play cost that team the game.
**Sorry, you can't pin this one on Romo. The Dallas "defense" gave up 51 points. Period. I mean, it's not like the offense kept going three and out, or Denver kept getting the ball in the Dallas red Zone to start every possession. The cowboys are just the bears—a "team" loaded with every kind of talent, but just can't play four quarters of football. And that's coaching. Period.
** I'm sorry, but if you put up 48 points your team should win every time...the D allows 51 points and everyone is pointing the finger at Romo? Ridiculous. The guy has the second best QB rating behind Peyton, who is playing out of his mind with a much better supporting cast. Not Rodgers, Brees, Brady, or Ryan...but Romo! Sure it was a bad pick, but when you have to score a TD on EVERY drive because your defense can't stop ANYTHING those things are going to happen.
** You are completely right! It was also the situation. On a 2nd and 16 he wanted to make it into a convertible 3rd down giving them a chance because if the Cowboys had to punt, game over. Peyton would go down the field and win it all the same. I'll take a QB like Romo anyday. The defense needs to step up.
