**That`s what you get from Romo. You take the good and live with the bad. Bret Frave was great when the risks worked and dumb and washed up when they don`t. That's the nature of Pro sports. The coach is great when the team is winning and stupid, dumb and doesn`t know what he is doing when the team loses.
Heck some were calling for Bellchecks head for crying out loud. The nature of the beast. What have you done Lately.

** That's Just Romo at his best! When the game is on the line or it's the playoffs he throws to the other team! The sad part about it is that it is a fact now. He has done it more times then not. And don't get me wrong I am a Broncos fan but I don't hate the Cowboys. They just need to really consider a QB change in the very near future. The only way they will get to the Superbowl and have a chance to win is if they have a different QB!

** The game was on the line when they were down 38-27 and Romo brought them back. Romo was the best player on the field for the Cowboys. Players like Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, Tyron Smith, Ernie Sims, Morris Claiborne, Dez Bryant had mishaps throughout the game that cost us. A different qb does not get them a W

** Jr Reyes you're right. That is what is so infuriating about Romo, the face that he is a really good player. That being said when the game is on the line, and he has the ball, history shows Cowboys fans should be worried.

** Im with my team regardless. Its amarathon not a sprint. What I really like about my team, is the impact of its rookie class, that was given an "F" grade at the draft. Escobar, Williams, Frederick, Wilcox and Holloman all look good.

** Look, I can be lenient on Tony Romo. He played an outstanding game; there's no question about it. But a team led by Romo will probably never win the Super Bowl, if it ever even goes. That's the simple reality. Why? Because every single time he has ever faced a situation like he did on Sunday, he has made a throw like he did on Sunday. And the other team has celebrated the win at his expense, like Denver did on Sunday. When Romo quits making those throws and starts delivering wins in those situations, everybody will be quiet about it.

** For one Escobar was open not wide open but he had a window. Romo was making those throws all day. He was tripped up by Tyron Smith and lost his footing go outside and try to throw a dart like that Even then Trevathon made a great play on the ball. Watch the tape it wasnt a bad decision a 3 man rush, yes 3 man, collapsed the pocket on Romo. That intereption was on the o line im sorry.

** Dalton maybe watch the tape where romo had his check down back WIDE open. Not "open" but WIDE open. If he had thrown that ball to his back he would have taken for a first no question. Regardless if the pocket collapsed he should, knowing the playbook, know where his wideouts are at all times. The o-line gave him time the entire game. The defense and his bone head play cost that team the game.

**Sorry, you can't pin this one on Romo. The Dallas "defense" gave up 51 points. Period. I mean, it's not like the offense kept going three and out, or Denver kept getting the ball in the Dallas red Zone to start every possession. The cowboys are just the bears—a "team" loaded with every kind of talent, but just can't play four quarters of football. And that's coaching. Period.

** I'm sorry, but if you put up 48 points your team should win every time...the D allows 51 points and everyone is pointing the finger at Romo? Ridiculous. The guy has the second best QB rating behind Peyton, who is playing out of his mind with a much better supporting cast. Not Rodgers, Brees, Brady, or Ryan...but Romo! Sure it was a bad pick, but when you have to score a TD on EVERY drive because your defense can't stop ANYTHING those things are going to happen.

** You are completely right! It was also the situation. On a 2nd and 16 he wanted to make it into a convertible 3rd down giving them a chance because if the Cowboys had to punt, game over. Peyton would go down the field and win it all the same. I'll take a QB like Romo anyday. The defense needs to step up.

**MASCARA wearing Mike Smith can now take ESTROGEN taking Patty Ryan- and go on that much needed RAINBOW cruise now because this ball game is

** Atlanta coach gave the game away, I would have fired him before he even got to the locker room. How do you not kick the field goal right before half? Not only did you go for it on 4th and 1 and don't make it, but you get another shot cause of the holding penalty, and yet you still don't kick the field goal. You do you win. He has a history of this garbage!

** Right, he takes a team that has never had back to back winning seasons to five winning seasons in a row, and you fire him before he gets to the locker room. Make sure you stay by the phone, Arthur Blank is to call and offer you Dimitroff's job.

** If it worked you would've called him a genius. It's only when it doesn't work and your defense gives up 30 points and lose by 2 then people start b1tching. How many fans boo when your team doesn't go for a 4 and 1 then cry about it later when it backfires?

** Vic Gee Do you guys watch the falcons, i don't even like them, but this coach has done this many times. It coast him the game end of story, and oh btw its not hard to coach one of the best teams in football when you have so much talent. And yet here you are 13-3 last year to 1-4 now, and if you cant beat the Jets, things are bad!

** As a Falcons fans, it disgusts me how Atlanta has been playing for the first half of this season. Even with the injuries, questionable 4th down decisions and a list of other issues, the Falcons should at least be a solid 3-2 right now. After this team comes out of their bye week next week, this team should have act together and play to enter as a potential Wild Card playoff team, as opposed to the early-projected NFC South champions.

** Any doubt just how crucial to any NFL Team's success the O-Line is, should be put to rest after this week. Here's why : 1. I am shocked at The Falcons this year, but looking at that O-Line makes it plain. Matt Ryan has little to no time to pass, & they generate ZERO forward push for the RB's. And, didn't Baker just get a fat contract ? 2. The Giants & Ravens have had serious O-Line woes that hinder both the QB & RB's to the point of costing games 3. The Bears--just when it seems the O-Line is becoming a real unit, they fall apart, as does Cutler 4. Contrast : The Saints & MY Broncos are unbeaten due to the incredible play of the QB's who are brilliantly protected. And KC's line has been both protecting Smith, & helping Charles to be a real game closer in the 4th Quarter. To all 3 O-Lines, Well Done! The Trenches, folks--the trenches. M. J. Lazzeri

** Tell me about it. They got lucky and beat the Bucs and Bills even though they should have lost. Got lucky again tonight. Amazing how such a crappy team is 3-2. They are garbage.

** Why Nolan, who does he have on the defensive side of the ball. Weatherspoon out, Bierman out, Samuel old and hurt, Osi and Babs old, DeCoud soft, rotates four rookies (2 undrafted ), Moore is about the only player he is working with right now. And he didn't build this defense. Not even Wade Phillips can fix this D. But if the offense can get things turned around, these same rookies have the potential to make huge impacts as the season goes along.

** Now in hindsight look at the offensive side $100 million man, Roddy ( healthy or not you still have to account for him) , Julio (he is a man/beast), Tony (old but highly effective), shaky Oline (Brees has been sacked more behind his line), Harry (would start on more than half the teams in the league), and there is depth at every skill position except QB. So why not Dirky??? I've been saying all season that we've been pass happy in the red zone and that we needed to run to keep defenses honest. And the back up running backs account for 3 TDs.

**up there ^ it says "No matter what, it just doesn't feel like an NFL season when the Steelers suck this bad." WHAT? it feels like one of the best NFL seasons since the steelers have always sucked this bad just this season everyone else can see it too...

**Right. It's Romo's fault that Dallas's "defense" gave up 51 points. I mean, the way the offense kept going 3 and out, right? He put up 48 points, for the love of Mike. The defense has to do SOMETHING. The cowboys are just the bears—a "team" loaded with all kinds of talent who just can't play four quarters of football.

**Christopher Vore It was kind of hard to tell ha. 506 yds 5 tds is amazing. That pick did lose the game though.

** Based on intial rankings, teams got points inverse to their ranking (32-0) points accrued for beating an opponent ranked higher equal to the ranking differential, no points taken away for losing to a team ranked higher, losing to a team that is ranked lower cause the team to lose points based on the differential. Bonus points for beating a team in the top 5(+3) top 10(+2) and top 20(+1) no bonus points for beating teams ranked 21-32(hence why the broncos are ranked third.)

**Patriots seem just right at 6 as a patriot fan i would have to say weve only played 2 solid games ! Thank god for our amazing d we could easily be 2-3

** NFC has been playing underacheiving football so far as a whole. We'll see who the real contenders are once we get into November and December.

** Finally some respect for the Raiders! They have lots of work to do but this team looks like a TEAM for the first time in over a decade. Not perfect and not super bowl bound but a solid team that is making progress every week.

** Good, we don't want them anyway. But the Chiefs are for real. That Def is stout and our offense will get better as the year progresses.

**2 years ago the Raiders might have had a much stronger team, but it finally feels like they have a group of players that are hungry and want to win. It's been a long time since I've seen them playing for more than a paycheck.

** I do not disagree with the Seahawks dropping down, but please remember the Colts got 28 points scored and ran for over 200 yds. on them (AT HOME) by an offense that was missing 3 out of 5 starting O-Linemen (2 Pro-bowlers) and started a rookie TE in place of their Pro Bowl caliber TE. Moving up 2 places is quite a stretch!! Leave the Homer out of the rankings!!

** Can someone tell me how power rankings help the current season? the schedules are set, the playoffs will still be determined by placement? Does this effect the schedule next season? Confused.
